Stabbing Hospitalizes Man After Argument, Suspect Arrested In Severn: Police

SEVERN, MD - A man was stabbed this weekend during a Severn argument, police said.

Officers said the 28-year-old victim was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said they arrested the suspect, identified as 54-year-old Jackie Costello Ingram of Severn.

Police said the stabbing happened around 11:45 p.m. Saturday at a home in the 1800 block of Blue Jay Court.

The suspect and the victim were arguing and the confrontation escalated, officers said.

Authorities said that's when the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife.

Police said they arrested Ingram and recovered the knife on the scene.

Court records show that Ingram was charged with:

  • Attempted first-degree murder (Felony)
  • First-degree assault (Felony)
  • Second-degree assault (Misdemeanor)
  • Reckless endangerment (Misdemeanor)

Judge Thomas V. Miller III on Monday held Ingram without bond, the record says.
