Tree Lighting, Christmas Bazaar Returning To Odenton

ODENTON, MD - Odenton will light its Christmas tree Saturday at the MARC train station.

The ceremony starts at 5 p.m. on the west side of the tracks. There will be refreshments and music.

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at 6 p.m. on the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company's truck. 

All are welcome to attend this free event.

The Odenton Heritage Society will host an open house Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The museum will have a Christmas bazaar with crafts and a bake sale. Museum admission will be free.

The museum tells more than 150 years of local history with objects, photographs and audio-visual programs. 

The building was constructed in 1912 as a two-story colonial revival. Located at 1367 Odenton Road, the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in August 2022.
