GAMBRILLS, MD - Gambrills has a new fast-food restaurant. Raising Cane's opened last week after months of anticipation.
The eatery is located across from Wendy's at 1070 Maryland Route 3. That's where Boston Market used to be.
The entire Raising Cane's menu centers around chicken fingers.
The chain opened its first restaurant in Louisiana in 1996. It now has hundreds of locations, mostly in the American South.
This is the fourth Raising Cane's in Maryland and the first in Anne Arundel County. The others are in Towson, Waldorf and Westminster.
WMAR reported that the chain plans to continue its local expansion with a restaurant coming soon in Owings Mills. The TV station said other potential sites include Columbia, Glen Burnie, Linthicum Heights, Bel Air, Annapolis, Parkville, Timonium and Baltimore.
The Gambrills location opened last Wednesday, WMAR said.
The restaurant has an outdoor seating area and a two-lane drive-thru.
Its hours are:
- Sunday through Thursday: 10 a.m. to midnight
- Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
