Stabbing At Gambrills Wendy's Hospitalizes Female, Sparks Crofton Manhunt: Police

GAMBRILLS, MD - A female was stabbed this week at the Gambrills Wendy's, police said.

Officers said the stabbing happened Monday around 4 p.m. at the fast food restaurant, located at 1064 Maryland Route 3.

Authorities said they learned that the victim was stabbed several times in her torso as she was entering her vehicle in the parking lot.

The victim knew the suspect personally and gave his name to police, a press release said.

The release said medics took the victim to an undisclosed trauma center with serious injuries.

Officers said the suspect drove away before first responders arrived.

Authorities said they applied for charges against the suspect and received a warrant.

Police said the Fugitive Apprehension Team is looking for the suspect.

Officers identified the suspect as a 41-year-old man from Crofton. Authorities did not release his name publicly.
