ReplyAt Pinewood there is one road that feeds in and out of the school. It seems that no one wants to do anything to relieve what could be potentially a serious situation if a real emergency would occur. Bottlenecks are an everyday occurrence and on special occasions, such as "grandparent day" total gridlock is the norm. It seems that neither administration at the school or the parents want to admit that a problem exists. I think the children at Pinewood are potentially put at risk due to the intransigence of school and parent leadership.

ReplyA full 40% or more of the problem comes from the north via the Susquehanna River. What in the hell is Maryland going to do about the states like PA, NJ etc. or do we here in MD foot that bill too?

ReplySteve, probably not much in real terms but there are times when frustrations have to be vented. In this case no real harm was done. Since my contempt for politicians is as high as it has ever been, with taxes, fees and more taxes, such as rain, etc. I do take pleasure in some discomfort to these sorry so called leaders.

M. Sullivan, no doubt about that, but you have to understand that the road in front of the school actually has three speed bumps to add to the mayhem. Remember this is not a thru street but dead ends at the school. You drive over the bumps going in and then when you drive around the circle you go over them again. With one road I still feel it has the potential to cause real problems.
