ReplyWell that's a shame. It will be even more difficult for a local eatery to succeed in that spot now that the Royal Farms is new and improved with full deli and fried chicken.
I hope that space gets rented soon... that strip is kind of an eyesore... -

ReplyLowering the speed limit is futile. One must simply take responsibility for one's self and do what one knows is safe and courteous. Some people will never learn or understand and we just hope they are able to avoid the fate of these young folks.
YOU take responsibility for YOU and drive safely and carefully and adhere to the speed limits enacted by traffic engineers who know more than you do.
If someone wants to tailgate me, go ahead; I will not drive too fast for the road on your account. Pass me if you like, otherwise I will stay out of your way if the road allows and just hope that I do not see you in a ditch up ahead.Hopefully some of these Speed Racers will see the memorial and THINK about what they're doing. One can only hope.

They are harming the neighborhood with the ILLEGAL noise, and the very real possibility that they will set someone's HOUSE ON FIRE.
There's a reason that fireworks are illegal; they're dangerous.
It's fine if you dullards want to blow your hand off, I would just prefer that you didn't burn someone else's house down in the process.

I suppose a young professional who doesn't want yard work or snow removal, who doesn't own equipment for such things and who likes amenities like the clubhouse, pool, gym, etc. would like it; if he can afford the rent.
