Piney Orchard Schedules Meeting on Two Rivers Plan

The community association will host the development team and members of the community on Aug. 8.

The Piney Orchard Community Association will host a meeting on Aug. 8 to get details about plans for the Two Rivers development and new elementary school. The association has invited the members of the development team, including Koch Homes and Classic Communities Corp., to discuss their proposal, which calls for 2,060 homes and the construction of a new school to the south of Piney Orchard. The meeting will be held at the Piney Orchard Community Center at 7 p.m. This will be the first time the developers have met publicly with Piney Orchard residents. ANALYSIS: Two Rivers and a New School

Breaking down the discussion of a new development at the south end of Odenton.

On Wednesday, the Anne Arundel County Board of Education heard a proposal from a team of developers offering to build an elementary school near the Odenton/Crofton border, south of Piney Orchard. Since there is a lot at play here, I decided to do a Q&A explainer to break down the various issues involved. If you have other questions related to this, throw them my way in the comments.
