Here Are Your 2012 Christmas Shipping Deadlines

What's the latest you can send a package this year to ensure pre-Christmas delivery? We run down the options around west Anne Arundel County.

If you're the type to put off holiday shopping until the last minute, not to worry—there are plenty of speedy ways to ship your items nationwide and ensure that they'll arrive before Dec. 25. Below is a rundown of US Postal Service, UPS, and FedEx deadlines for pre-Christmas arrival. Cost, of course, goes up with the speed of the service. The absolute latest option nearby? UPS Advertising for Seasonal Help

If the holidays are to come off without a hitch, package delivery firms are going to need some extra hands.  UPS is one company that is advertising for seasonal help through Christmas, with a number of positions open locally.  A search on UPS' career website showed seasonal positions for driver helpers in Odenton and Hanover, as well as several other nearby places in Anne Arundel County.  Driver helpers don't drive the truck, but assist in delivering packages and must have the ability to lift at least 70 pounds.
