With Thanksgiving approaching, families and businesses are preparing for the Harvest season in a variety of ways. Here's a look at some events, both professional and social, that may interest you this week. -Fort Meade will host it's weekly Texas Hold Em tournament on Monday. Information can be found in our events column. -Quarterfield Elementary's Fall Book Fair takes place all this week, where children and parents can cruise the media center in search for some early reading material for the holiday season. I just want to say that I can't wait for the full effect of the sequester to really kick in. Maybe then people will start to realize that the federal government is bloated and we don't need all of these lazy, useless federal government workers who are just in it to collect a check and wait until retirement.
