Meet the Editor at Gambrills General Store Event

The store will hold an open house Friday, and Patch editor Tim Lemke will be on hand with special goodies.

The Gambrills General Store will hold a special open house event on Friday, featuring free food, craft projects and a small store set up for kids. The open house will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and customers will be able to browse the store, sip on some hot drinks and munch on a cookie or two. Patch editor Tim Lemke will be on hand from 4-7 p.m. to meet local residents and hand out some additional goodies. Anyone who spends more than $20 at the store or signs up for Patch newsletters will receive a free Patch tote bag.

Chesapeake Bay Roasting Co. Hosts Open House

Wednesday's monthly open house also will feature a free coffee ice cream tasting.

Coffee enthusiasts who love supporting local businesses won’t want to miss Wednesday afternoon's open house at the Chesapeake Bay Roasting Co. (CBRC) in Crofton. CBRC hosts these open houses monthly and considers them a way to thank the local community for their support, said Michael Waldon, creative director for CBRC. “Our goal with each monthly open house is to invite the community to come see firsthand why we are the region's finest coffee,” Waldon said. Riverscape Offers Incentives at Open House

Anyone who applies for an apartment between Friday and Sunday could get discounts or gift cards.

The Riverscape Apartments in Piney Orchard will hold an open house this weekend, and will be offering special incentives to encourage applications. The open house will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Anyone who applies for an apartment between Friday and Sunday will be eligible for prizes including gift cards and waived fees on carport rentals and pets.

Did have a chance to look at it today. Nice place with all the amenities of both an apartment complex and the larger HOA so there is a big choice of ammenities abailable. Little bit of a sticker shock - didn't realize that rentals were about the same, or more, than a mortgage payment. It might be worth it for the fresh baked cookies.   more ›

Free Open House on Saturday Offers Food, Fun

The event sponsored by Vuong's Martial Arts will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot on Carver Road off Maryland Route 3 North.

The community is invited to a free event in Gambrills with food, moon bounces, giveaways and more on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Carver Square Open House will be held in the parking lot shared by the Vuong's Martial Arts and S.J. Chadwick buildings on Carver Road off Maryland Route 3 North. "This is our 3rd year holding the event and it has grown each year," wrote Mike Visitacion, manager and instructor at Vuong's. Village at Odenton Station Hosts Weekend Open House

The new apartment project near the MARC station will have a model unit available.

The Village at Odenton Station will hold an open house this weekend and will waive any fees for those who apply on site. The new apartment complex near the MARC station is accepting leases now, and will have a model unit available for the first time for viewing. The open house will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Prospective residents can also call 410-672-0561 to set up an appointment. The Village at Odenton Station is located at the corner of Duckens Street and Town Center Boulevard, and features 235 apartments. Move-ins for the Dolben Company's project could begin as soon as next month. Meanwhile, Dolben is working to lease up 57,000 square feet of ground floor retail.

Haven Apartments To Hold Open House

Anyone who signs a new lease will be entered to win an iPad.

The Haven at Odenton Gateway apartments will hold an open house Saturday for the new units at the corner of Sappington Station and Annapolis Road. Johnson Development is accepting leases for units in the new apartment complex from now, and expects completion of its model units and clubhouse next week. The open house on Saturday will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature catered food from Perry's Restaurant. The Haven will have several specials for prospective residents, including a 5 percent military discount and a waived application fee. Anyone who signs a lease now will get one month of free rent when they move in and will be entered to win an iPad. There are more than 250 apartments under construction.
