7-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured in Crash
Police said a 7-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash on Casuarina Way.
A 7-year-old boy is in serious condition after he suffered life-threatening injuries in a car accident in Odenton on Tuesday night. According to a police press release, officers received a report of a crash at 10 p.m. on Tuesday. Police said an Acura struck a parked tow truck on Casuarina Way near the intersection of Spring Meadow Way in Odenton. The front-seat passenger, a 7-year-old boy, sustained a severe head injury in the crash. He was transported to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in critical condition, according to the release. The driver of the Acura was uninjured. According to police, preliminary evidence indicated that alcohol and driver fatigue were contributing factors.
