Anne Arundel County police have charged an Odenton woman in the stabbing death of her husband in November. Donna Mills Wood, 38, surrendered to police on Thursday afternoon after detectives obtained a warrant for her arrest. Police determined that she was responsible for the death of her husband, Jerome Vorden Wood, inside their home on Pine Cove Avenue. Wood's husband, Jerome Vorden Wood, died on Nov. 6 from injuries to the upper torso. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled his death to be caused by stab wounds, and declared it a homicide. Anne Arundel County police are investigating the murder of a man near the border of Severn and Odenton on Tuesday, and said they have identified a suspect who knew him. According to a police press release, police officers and paramedics responded to a report of an attempted suicide at the 100 block of Pinecove Drive. They arrived to find Jerome Vorden Wood, 45, on the floor and suffering from wounds to his upper torso. Paramedics rushed Wood to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, where he died. Homicide detectives investigated the case and learned that Wood's injuries may not have been self-inflicted, police said.
