Local Students to Perform With Baltimore Symphony
During a special concert on Thursday, highly talented students will get to experience the chance of a lifetime while learning from some of the world's best musicians.
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) will perform alongside several local high school musicians in a special "side-by-side" concert Thursday. Musicians from Arundel, Meade and Old Mill high schools are among the 29 from the county selected to play with the orchestra and receive special instruction. “This Side-by-Side experience is a real-life experience unlike any other that can be provided to young musicians. To a person, they cite the BSO Side-by-Side experience as the highlight of their high school musical years,” said Amy Cohn, AACPS’ coordinator of music, in a press release.
