The basketball, indoor track and wrestling seasons are among those getting started this week.
There was very little gap between the fall and winter sports seasons at local high schools. Winter sports get going this week with scrimmages and even some regular season matchups. Here's a look at what's happening at Meade High in the next week. Boys Basketball -Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. at Kent Island -Friday, 6:45 p.m. at North County Girls Basketball -Thursday, 7 p.m. at Suitland -Friday, 5 p.m. at North County Wrestling -Wednesday, 4 p.m. vs. Arundel and Chesapeake. Indoor Track -Tuesday, 3:30 p.m. vs. Annapolis at Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex -Saturday, Dec. 8 all day. Howard County Invitational at Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex.
