Big Two Days for Local Sports Teams
There's plenty of great action in football, volleyball, field hockey, soccer, and cross country.
We're entering the home stretch of the fall high school sports seasons, and several local teams are in the hunt for state titles. Arundel, Meade, Old Mill and South River will be seeking big playoff wins Friday and Saturday. Here's a look at what's in store: Football Arundel (10-0) hosts Meade (7-2) in a Class 4A regional semifinal. Arundel won 40-8 in the teams' first meeting this year. Friday 7 p.m. at Arundel. Old Mill hosts South River in the other regional semifinal. Friday, 7 p.m. at Old Mill. Volleyball Arundel vs. Severna Park in the Class 4A regional final.
