If the holidays are to come off without a hitch, package delivery firms are going to need some extra hands. UPS is one company that is advertising for seasonal help through Christmas, with a number of positions open locally. A search on UPS' career website showed seasonal positions for driver helpers in Odenton and Hanover, as well as several other nearby places in Anne Arundel County. Driver helpers don't drive the truck, but assist in delivering packages and must have the ability to lift at least 70 pounds. UPS said the position usually involves weekday work.
