The Green Turtle will be interviewing candidates for jobs at its newest location at Waugh Chapel Towne Centre on Wednesday. Those interested in working at the restaurant can stop by J. King’s Restaurant in Gambrills from 6-8 p.m. Anyone can apply in person, and interviews will be conducted. Depending on the level of employment, jobs could come with paid vacations, employer-matched 401k and health care, according to the Greene Turtle website. The family-owned supermarket, which plans to open this fall, will hire hundreds for the new store in Gambrills.
With each new store that opens in the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, there are opportunities for employment. Wegmans Food Market is scheduled to open in the fall and will hire 470 new employees, according to a press release. The store is currently hiring for 160 full-time positions. Applicants must apply online at www.wegmans.com/careers. In-person applications and phone calls will not be accepted. Full-time positions include entry-level management, customer service, pharmacy staff, cashiers and a wide range of culinary and food service positions.
