New Program to Speed Access to Fort Meade
The new Trusted Traveler program will allow anyone with a Department of Defense identification to vouch for anyone in their car.
Fort Meade has implemented a new program designed to speed up traffic through the installation gates. The Army has asked all installations to use the new Trusted Traveler Progra, which allows anyone with a Department of Defense identification card to vouch for anyone in their vehicle. According to Fort Meade's website, the change will offer flexibility to those bringing friends and family onto the installation, and will reduce traffic congestion.
