Man Fires Shot During Robbery at David's Natural Market
Police said a man entered the store Friday night and fired a gun at the ceiling before taking a clerk's purse.
Anne Arundel County police responded Friday night to an armed robbery at the David's Natural Market store in Gambrills. Police spokesman Justin Mulcahy said officers received a call shortly before 8 p.m. and arrived to learn that a man had entered the store and fired a single gunshot to the ceiling. The man demanded money from the store and took the purse of a store clerk before running away. Police searched the area using assistance from a K-9 unit and aviation unit, but could not find the man. Mulcahy said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
