This activity report is a collection of all major police and fire incidents in Severn. The list is categorized based upon the incident's public release date from the Anne Arundel County Police and Fire Department. April 1, 2011 Drug Arrest A Severn man was arrested April 1 after police found over $26,000 worth of cocaine and other drug-related items in his home off of Golden Pine Circle, according to Anne Arundel County Police. Special Enforcement detectives arrested Roger Brown, 34, as he was exiting his vehicle near Quarterfield Road and Parke West Drive in Glen Burnie after receiving a tip in February that he was distributing cocaine. Police Blotter

Anne Arundel County Police in the western district responded to the following incidents in Severn so far in November.

Burglary Arrest: Around 11:06 p.m. on Nov. 4, officers responded to a call about a burglary in progress at the 1400 block of Larch Road. A citizen spotted lights coming from the inside of a vacant home and contacted police. Upon arriving at the scene, officers confronted a man and woman at the house. It was determined that the house was foreclosed and up for sale. The owner of the residence was not available for more information. Both suspects were arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary. The male suspect, Marvin A. Scott, had three outstanding arrest warrants. Suspects: Stephanie Lancaster, 34.
