Cantina Mamma Lucia Holds Grand Re-Opening

The Hanover restaurant celebrated a new expanded space.

We've had a nice discussion here on Patch recently about Italian restaurants in the area, following the news of the Italian Market closing in Gambrills.  Coincidentally, we can relay the news of one popular eatery in Hanover celebrating a new expansion over the weekend. Cantina Mamma Lucia, now has an expanded dining area, after bumping out the end unit of the strip shopping center at Dorsey and Ashton Roads.  Anyone who's eaten at this popular Italian spot will contend that the extra seating will help alleviate some crowding issues.  Have you been to Cantina Mamma Lucia since it expanded?   Get headlines and breaking news alerts in your email inbox. Hanover Shopping Strip Expanding

The center off Dorsey Road is getting a larger Cantina Mamma Lucia and dental office.

The shopping center off of Dorsey and Ashton Roads in Hanover is undergoing an expansion.  There's a flurry of construction activity that includes a new addition to the Cantina Mamma Lucia Italian restaurant on the strip's east end. The Meah Family Dentistry is also expanding on the other side.  The shopping center includes a wide range of businesses, including the headquarters of the Fort Meade Alliance, a Pakistani restaurant and a nail salon.  Have you seen any other construction activity around town?
