The new CVS store in Odenton is coming soon. Sitework is underway at the corner of Annapolis Road and Sappington Station Road, in front of the Haven at Odenton Gateway apartments. The CVS will also move in near the medical building to be operated by Johns Hopkins and Anne Arundel Medical. The new Patient First center is also nearby. I've reached out to CVS officials to see if there's a target open date for the new store. The future of the existing CVS store at the Odenton Shopping Center is now unclear. For now, it's open. Five different projects will be up for discussion. First, the committee will talk about the new Verizon Store on Annapolis Road and whether or not it should have been consulted prior to it being completed earlier this year. That discussion will be followed …

Thea - When you own a dilapidated shopping center with poor parking and you charge high rent you are not going to get much new business. It seems to me and others maybe this is a ploy to sell off this strip mall to the highest bidder once it is empty. Maybe only keeping the building were the dialysis is going, or maybe they want it empty so they can redevelop it into something else. Don't expect …   more ›
