And there are a host of new restaurants at the nearby Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, including The Greene Turtle, Panera, Nando’s Peri Peri and Coal Fire …

It appears to be that time of year, when local groups ask the community to sit down and pile their plates with beef, oysters and other goodies. Several local groups have bull and/or oyster roasts scheduled, with money going toward various causes including stadium lights and fire trucks. Money from the sale of tickets will go toward new lights at Carroll Field at Arundel High. Tickets are $40. This is just a bull roast, no oysters. Email boosters@arundelathletics.org for information.
