There is evil in this world and these girls are examples of it. Don't be so quick to blame theRead More parents as these types are very manipulative and put up a good front.
A. M. King April 22, 2014 at 09:49 pm
It's rather apparent that the parents of these two girls never taught them any morals. If I wereRead More Michael's Mom, I'd go after them. Their behavior is beyond disgusting. He obviously does not realize the seriousness of what they have done. They are total trash!
Tony jones April 22, 2014 at 10:54 pm
Well anything the courts do to this girl will not be effective. She should be turned over to theRead More people of the town and his family. Sometimes the law needs to look the other way, let things happen and don't get involved.
Gabriel Marc Voumard, 22, a midshipman from the Naval Academy, was charged with assault for allegedly charging a taxi driver while holding a butter knife. Credit: Anne Arundel County Police
Domenic Messina April 22, 2014 at 02:08 pm
Thankfully, the butter knife aggressor did not have a jar of jelly because the cabbie would haveRead More been toast.
Steven Spiegel April 22, 2014 at 08:28 pm
I drove a cab back in the late 90's and believe me most of the guys who drove back then were lessRead More then honest !!!! I believe that the whole truth is not present in this article
Relaxing April 23, 2014 at 12:29 am
On other comments on other papers many have this kid kicked out... Although allegedly he went afterRead More the driver nobody got hurt. He did the right thing and took a cab instead of driving. I didn't know it cost that much to drive to Arnold! Although Annapolis isnt a college town we do have a "college" in our town. These kids work ten times harder than the average college kid. So on the weekends they go into town and blow off some steam. Some locals are annoyed by the mids. Really? Let it go and have fun. I hope things get better for this kid. I hope it wakes up some that tip the scale on a regular basis. I wish people were more forgiving. He didn't hurt anyone and drank too much and took a cab.

Bonnie Oskvarek April 22, 2014 at 12:38 pm
This was a link to a video interview of the murderer before it was known that he was, in fact, theRead More murderer. I had contributed a much longer comment, but evidently that didn't get posted.

Bryan Harz April 19, 2014 at 09:06 am
Hopefully he gets deported back to Pakistan after he gets out of jail.
L.B. April 21, 2014 at 09:29 am
If the government does not deport him all AMERICANS should stand together and ask WHY?
Justin case April 21, 2014 at 10:33 am
He will be bitter at our government no matter how much time he spends in prison. Afterwards he getsRead More a free trip home to Pakistan so he can connect with more terrorist and perfect his art as a real terrorist that can and will inflict harm to all Americans.

I'm glad they got their van back. Some actual good news for a change. :-)

Attempted Kidnapping will bring the F.B.I. every time.
Dudeindacorner April 17, 2014 at 06:46 pm
And FYI... forcing the manager into an office then making him tote the cash out to the robbers van?Read More = Kidnapping
Clayton King April 18, 2014 at 11:01 am
And don't attempted murder bring in the FBI? I dunno but if the guy who shot the manager as he wasRead More driving off seems that's attempted murder js
Where Baltimore ranked on a list of Maryland's cities may surprise you. File|Patch
Bob Higginbotham April 21, 2014 at 10:32 am
I still have far less trepidation going to OC than downtown Baltimore City. In fact I won't even goRead More into the city for a ball game anymore. I'm not sure what the website means by "property crime" means but I suspect it is not as bad as violent crime upon my person.
A man walking his bike on a Laurel street swung it at an armed robber to prevent a theft. File|Patch
Kim Cooke April 16, 2014 at 05:04 pm
Well done!
Marcus Aurelius April 17, 2014 at 07:06 am
Must be one of those tea party members again, right democrats? Someone tell me again why I can'tRead More carry in Maryland like they can in 37 other states. Now remember we have passed 25,000 gun laws in this country already and for some odd reason criminals will just not obey the law, strange huh? I am sure he had a licensed handgun and it only had 7 bullets or less in it.
August London Lane April 18, 2014 at 10:39 am
OMG..I am famous.. This was me. I swung the bike and wanted to get him in a hold and then get hisRead More gun... For the most part pretty accurate details, all but..... He was the one swinging(like a fool that cant fight and by the way he didn't try and fight the other guy that was NOT carrying a bunch of crap) I was swatting his hands cuz i had like 3 bags on me. When i dropped them to start his career ending beating he took off . LIL punk is lucky my back is all jacked up or he would have a mongoose tattoo on his forehead then the handle bars shoved up his ...well you know. Hope he reads this. cuz next time Ill be prepared..GO laurel. just when i thought getting outta PG county was a good idea. Side note. IF You gotta gun ..USE it.... And yes i chased him yelling dumb shit like, sounding like a douche. He brought a gun to a LIFE fight. Btw i am broke as a joke. So i don't know if i was courageous or stupid. ADRENALINE is hella thing. Peace love and get a job.
David E. Seafolk-Kopp of Reston was out paddling in a kayak Saturday night when he was shot in the stomach. Google map
Justin case April 16, 2014 at 10:01 am
This guy is full of crap. I'm surprised crap didn't leak out of the bullet wound. He was oobviouslyRead More accidentally shot by a known person and the gun is probably not registered or the accidental shooter may not want to be involved so he made up a Swiss cheese hole story to cover either his butt or the shooters
Anne Arundel police hosted an online chat this week to answer parents' questions and shared tips about the dangers of kids "sexting." File|Patch
Chuck Burton April 12, 2014 at 12:09 pm
You have to start a long time before 8 - 10, Joe. But don't put it in terms of "cants".Read More Put it in terms of what is smart behavior to protect themselves and others. And coach them if they make mistakes. Don't punish unless they harm someone else.
Joe Van Deuren April 12, 2014 at 03:20 pm
While I would agree that talking to a child about driving habits prior to the age of 8 would be fineRead More - talking them about sexting - would be inappropriate. More appropriated would be "respect for their body and themselves". This is the basics of "good touch, bad touch" education. In regard to punishment - teaching / discipline is far more important and a subject I have written on in my blog and school. Consequences (natural) as the result of any behavior should be allowed as that is a part of real life, good or bad. It is a great learning tool. When we do not allow our children to have consequences and failure, we are making them less resilient and weaker rather than preparing them for the future.
Steven Spiegel April 13, 2014 at 08:17 pm
I am going on 50 and when I was a teen I was into a lot of bad things such as Drugs . I took myRead More first hit of acid at age 13 and I loved it . I Also smoked weed on a daily bases and also smoked PCP and was busted at age 14 for having them in school . That was the first and last time I got busted not because I stopped doing drugs I just got smarter or more Stupid . We never dreamed of the things these children have now days . Not even in our wildest drug induced comas . Kids don't realize how much danger there is on the internet .
An author who has reportedly worked with police on the Bradford Bishop murder case tells WTOP that the Bethesda fugitive is likely living in Italy. Credit: FBI website
runymede April 13, 2014 at 08:03 am
This is a terrible tragedy but I don't consider Bethesda as a Baltimore suburb but a WashingtonRead More suburb. Why should this story get a mention on this site ?
ladypoet April 14, 2014 at 01:14 pm
Catch him and do the same as he did to his family. This was such a heinous crime. Who could killRead More your own mother, children and the mother of your children? A no good demon!
Patrick Carter April 14, 2014 at 02:29 pm
Find him and fry him. He should die regardless of his age. Italy probably won't help because of theRead More Amanda Knox case. I say govt should put a hit on him.

Will someone please help Robert find his medications?
Justin case April 11, 2014 at 11:15 am
He probably retired from the state department under an alias. They didn't even notice he was missingRead More for an entire week so I'm sure they wouldn't notice if he came back to work as Juan Rodriguez or some other alias. Bunch of idiots. The FBI must finally be sick of this guy embarrassing them for 38 years
Pam Hamburg April 11, 2014 at 04:40 pm
Your government agencies at work....HA! But cops can get away with beating an unarmed or mentallyRead More challenged or mentally ill person to DEATH. What a world.
