April 6th, Saturday morning at 8:45 AM, my wife and I, along with our two small children, arrived at Perry's. They supposedly open up at 8:00 AM for breakfast. We walked into the front door and saw a lot of set/empty tables. There was an older waiter sitting in the back corner who disappeared into the back when we walked in. There was also an older gentleman sitting at a booth alone, drinking coffee. We sat at a big round table and waited. And waited. And waited. 10 minutes later, after NOBODY showed up, we left...we will never, EVER go back. I love local businesses and I support them whole heartedly, but this place needs to go.

Food was ok, but the soda tasted off. Price was average.

But my lasting memory will be, as others have posted, the restaurant needs a good cleaning/updating.

Friend of mine and I went to Perry's for the first time a few weeks ago. I have to say we both agreed we were not going back. One the place is dirty, the place looks like it hasent had a GOOD cleaning since the 80s. It was clean-ish for the most part but...well you get the point. Two the service was horrible and slow. The food was alright, nothing I would wait another hour or so to get again when there are better places across the street. Three didnt really notice until my friend said something about the smell, she is a non smoker and it really bothered her. I dont think they smoke in there anymore but I could tell there used to be alot of smoking in there. Well our over all dining experience was that we wouldnt go back, but that is just us. The local drinkers like it or so one of them told us on the way out, as my friend and I were discussing the wait and service.

Called last Tue. for reservations for 10 for Friday night. Was told by Mike Mr. Perry's son that no reservations were taken, first come, first served. Got there at 6:30 to get enough space. Found that the tables behind us were "reserved'. When I questioned this, was told I was lying, that I never called and asked! Took 3 requests and 34 min. to have the fan above us turned on. Two or our dinner orders were wrong, with no attempt to correct it! Service was shoddy and hit or miss at best. We all agree that we are not going back! Mr. Perry ran a very good place, his sons are running it into the ground!

My wife and I visit Perry's often. We find the food very good and reasonably priced. The drinks are priced right. The service is good; great when Karen is out waitress.

I go to Perry's at least once a month, I like their food. I however think the please really needs some sprucing up and the carpets need to be replaced and the whole place needs to be dusted. But the main reason I go their is for the food and the service is just a little slow. I have toddler and she is wrecking ball at a restaurant with Perry's never being packed and the service a little slow this is a Perfect place for us. I am also always able to find a coupon which Perry's has never not honored. I would give a five star rating if the place got cleaned!

As the other customer years ago we had an entertainment coupon and whne we got to the retaurant they would not honor the coupon, and because of that we have never gone back and we only live a mile form the place. We felt that it was very poor customer service, if they want your business they should honor things, then people return.

Bought a certificate for here from a well known website that gives discounts to certain restaurants. Bought it, printed it and went...all on the same day and noticed a hand written message on the door that read "we no longer take ***********.com certificates".We went in and showed the certificate and they told me that they weren't taking them anymore...I explained that we just bought it that very day and they shrugged and said "sorry, we aren't taking them". They could have and should have honored it...that would have been good customer service. We walked out and will never go back.

I love to come to Perry's, we have had two private party's here and had great food and service. My Red Hat Chapter meets here at least once a year ( and Perry's is the only place we meet at more than once). The New Years Eve Party is fun and a safe place to spend the evening.
I also bring my grandkids in for lunch and dinner. I don't feel it is a singles place.
