Been ordering here for many years, Love the place!! Food is great, As soon as she answers the phone she recognizes my voice and knows the order coming. This is our only carryout place for the Chinese Food. Now with being closed Sunday we plan our day to eat Chinese Carryout food. Glad I found the place and decided to try it years ago, we like the small lunch buffet as well.

I have been ordering from this small but nice restaurant for more than 4 years; they are friendly and prompt and courteous. They know us. They take our orders on the phone quickly and always remember who we are. Never had a problem. Every body has a bad day or a new person.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ORDER SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!
Called to order delivery. Asked specifically if they delivered to Gambrills and was assured that they did. Asked if they needed directions and was told they could find us. A hour later, our food had still not arrived. They finally contacted us for directions. Twenty five minutes later, we were informed that we lived too far and our food was not coming. Totally inept management with zero business skills.

Quality of food is not the best, but is always very, very good. (hunan L'Rose is better but much higher $ and no delivery available). Prices at Hong Kong Gourmet are very reasonable for the size of the portions you get . Clean place to go eat, very simply decorated. We have our food delivered mostly, but do stop in to eat on occassion. Owners are very nice, and will do almost anything to please the customer. Have had problem getting delivery a couple times when part-time driver was filling in when owner was out sick. I am a regular (once a week) to my business. I wish they would open a location by my home in Carroll County. Tried six different restaurants in our area and they all are bad. HONG KONG GOURMET IS AWESOME!
