Very unhappy with this shop. my Firebird would turn over but would not start and i found this shop on my phone because i was right down the road. i was lied to about broken parts on the car, about work that needed to be done and what the problem even was. After almost 600 dollars of work i was told that it was ready and the car ran for thirty minutes until the same thing started happening again. i took it back 2 more times after that. Each time the car ran for less than two hours before stalling out and not starting again. I still have the same problem plus a broken headlight door now due to one of his mechanics and less 600 dollars. when i asked what happened to the headlight door Gary replied "i did not break that". i understood that he may not have however he was responsible for the actions of his mechanics. He swore he was the only one to work on the car however i had seen two other of his employees working on it just a few days before. i will never recommend this shop to anyone nor will i ever go back. Gary Stonesifer is a liar and does not operate this shop with honesty whatsoever.

Over 8 years ago I was recommended by my boss at the time to bring my car to G&S for some car repair work that I needed to have done on my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Every since then I have been taking my car and have recommended to everyone I know to take their vehicles to G&S for maintenance and all their auto needs. G&S is family owned and operated. The owner, Gary Stonesifer is an expert technician, experience mechanic, and honest friend. The G&S staff including Gary (the owner and head mechanic), Emily (She runs the front desk and multitasks like a queen!), Gary's son Mickey, and Gary's own brother provide great customer service and I consider them to be part of my own family. This is a fair business that cares about their customers and provides you the best service possible. I highly recommend G&S Automotive and will continue to recommend people to Gary's for excellent repair work and great customer service. Previous work that I have had done at G&S includes transmission rebuilds, radiator replacements, window repairs, oil changes, etc.

I've been taking my vehicals (Toyota/Honda) to G&S for over a decade now. Gary and his crew always do a great job, has never over-charged me, and always has my car ready sooner than I expect......

Let me tell you! ..... I was recommended to G&S Automotive by a friend. While being new to the area, and living on-board Fort Meade Base in state of Maryland, I was always disgusted by quotes from a lot of "Rip-Off" repair shops in this area. They all were out for money while falsifying repairs I really didn't need. But when I took a chance and went to Gary! ....... I couldn't believe it! This guy is the most honest, straight talking, polite, and reasonable priced mechanic I have ever met in Odenton. Believe me, .....you will not get ripped off. To top it off, ......Upon completion of my first auto repair, ..... I felt so satisfied, .... I even gave him a generous $ tip beyond cost of my bill. Most of all; you have to meet his office manager and other mechanics who works for him ...... they treat you like family.

G&S is great. Gary is fast, fair, and flexible. He'll tell you what you need and what's overpriced/not worth the money. He'll shop around and find you the best priced auto parts. He's saved me hundreds of dollars over the years, and my car runs great (at 207k now). All in all, the best mechanic I ever had!

If it were possible to give more than 5 stars to G&S, I would do so. Gary was recommended to me by several of my friends, and has taken care of my car for a number of years. He is honest, never charging for repairs that I don't need; he can generally diagnose a problem faster than I can count to 10; he always tries to work around my schedule; and his prices are extremely fair. Lets just say that I am a car expert, and this is by far the best place to get your vehicle worked on in Odenton. I take all of my vehicles to Gary and never have a concern of being ripped off.
