i belong to this church and i absolutley love it! Except for the ramps for handicapped we don't have that. It's just walk in without any bumps. Our people are friendly and feel free to come in any time!

Pastor Barry Lyon came to Baltimore in January 1981 to begin a new church. The congregation soon outgrew the facility and moved to Severn in 1988 where they've been ever since. With a variety of programs, the Chesapeake Baptist Church reaches out to youth, senior citizens and even has programs for the deaf.

I love this church! I belong to it and I have been here for 14 years (hint I am 14 LOL!) I absolutely love my church and if someone were to ask me if I wanted to move to another church I would say NO (!) in a heartbeat! I invite you to come to my church, enjoy it and stay there!;
