Details: The RAB board meets every other month to discuss the environmental program at Fort Meade, including the cleanup of chemical contamination of groundwater in the area. Thursday’s meeting will feature an update on a munitions sweep of the Little Patuxent River and removal of methane from the area of the former Manor View dump site.

Details: The State Transportation Alliance to Restore Trust (START) will rally in Annapolis to push the legislature to raise more than $800 million for transportation improvements in the state. START, which includes more than 90 business groups, is especially focused on getting money for the expansion of roads around Fort Meade.
