The following was submitted by Steve Barrett of the Arundel Instrumental Music Association.

Twelve musicians from Arundel High School earned position in the 2011-2012 Anne Arundel County Public Schools All-County Concert Band, scheduled to perform Feb. 4 at Meade High School, beginning at 7 p.m. Concert band auditions were held Jan. 4 at Meade High School.

Earning spots in the concert band are senior Ashley Stewart (trombone); juniors Larnell Thomas (alto saxophone), Victoria Banos (trumpet), Brandon Rafsky (baritone horn), Jeremiah Quijote (clarinet), Emma Dixon (clarinet), Amanda Hautmann (flute), Adedayo Ogunbajo (baritone horn), Will McHarg (tenor saxophone) and Austin Olsen (French horn); sophomore Kelsey Cox (French horn) and freshman Brian Howard Jr. (trombone).
