Dozens of firefighters responded to a blaze that struck a house in Seven Oaks during Thursday's thunderstorms.
Members of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded at about 3:40 p.m. to the fire in a single-family home at the 1900 block of Artillery Lane. Department spokesman Keith Swindle said the two-alarm incident brought about 50 firefighters to the scene and was under control by about 5 p.m.
Two adults were displaced by the fire and received help from the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were reports of injuries, and no immediate estimate on the cost of damage.
