Three Drug Cases Net Seizures, Multiple Arrests in Brooklyn Area

Three unrelated cases in the past week resulted in the seizure of drugs by officers from the Northern District of Anne Arundel Police Department, as well as multiple suspects arrested.

In the first case, detectives were conducting surveillance in the Brooklyn/Brooklyn Park area following residents’ complaints about drug activity in the area. Detectives saw an occupied vehicle in the 200 block of West Edgevale Road.

As a result of a traffic stop, three individual baggies with 13.13 grams of suspected marijuana, 20 suspected Oxycodone pills, and eight baggies containing unknown controlled dangerous substances were seized, along with the vehicle. Total value of the drugs was estimated at $541.

Two suspects were charged in the incident. Erik Anthony Mullins, 32, of 232 West Edgevale Road in Baltimore was charged with possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone, possession of Oxycodone, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.

Also, Malik Maurice Moseley, 22, of 4147 Audrey Ave. in Baltimore was charged with possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone, possession of Oxycodone, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of marijuana.

In the second case, detectives stopped a white 1996 Chevrolet truck on Ritchie Highway at Edison Street in the Brooklyn area of Anne Arundel County on Feb. 19. As a result of the traffic stop, detectives seized 119.88 grams of suspected marijuana in individual baggies with an estimated street value of $2,000, $2,540 in cash and a 1996 Chevrolet truck.

Suspect Arron Vernard Daily Jr., 31, of 1410 Illinois Ave. in Severn was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of marijuana.

And in the third case, detectives on Feb. 20 conducted a traffic stop on Belle Grove Road and 10th Avenue in the Brooklyn Park area of Anne Arundel County. Authorities seized a small amount of suspected crack cocaine and a .357 Magnum handgun.

Eugene Herbert Spruill, 27, of 114 Elizabeth Ave. in Baltimore was charged with possession of crack cocaine and numerous related firearm violations.
