Teen Reports Being Robbed on Disney Road

The 17-year-old said two men assaulted him and stole his cell phone.

A teenage boy told police that two men robbed him last week while he was walking on a street in Severn.

Anne Arundel County police said they responded at 3 p.m. Friday and spoke to the 17-year-old boy, who said he was approached from behind and assaulted by the two men. The teen told police that one man stole his cell phone and then ran to a four-door, maroon sedan and rode off.

Police used a K-9 unit and Aviation unit to search for the car, but could not find it.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Holy cr*, what's happening in Severn? We just moved from there, and all I see now on Patch are middle-of-the-day robberies and assaults!

C W-- There are particular residential streets and small areas in Severn where one ought not walk around. It is usually the people who live there who are both the perpetrators and the victims. But these are well-known and avoided by typical Severn residents.
