Men Caught Using Jack to Swipe Wheels from Car Dealership

Police have charged two Anne Arundel County men with theft for trying to steal wheels off a vehicle at a car dealership.

Two suspected thieves showed up at a Glen Burnie car lot ready to go to work – removing wheels.

Anne Arundel County Police were called about 12:19 a.m. Saturday to the JBA Chevrolet dealership in the 7300 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie for a report of a tampering with automobile.

Police were told that two male suspects were on the lot tampering with a car belonging to the dealership. Upon arrival, an officer reportedly saw two men taking wheels and tires from a car on the lot.

The suspects brought along a floor jack and blocks, police said. One wheel was completely removed from a vehicle, but it was not damaged.

Both suspects were charged with theft, trespassing, rogue and vagabond, and burglary tools.

The two arrested are: Dennis Fonger, 22, of 7915 Leeds Ave. in Pasadena; and Bronson Neiswender, 22, of 307 Thelma Ave. in Glen Burnie.
