Police said marijuana and a large amount of powder cocaine was discovered at an Odenton home on Thursday night. An Odenton man and Crownsville woman were arrested on drug-related charges.
According to a press release from Anne Arundel County police, a search warrant was executed at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of Snow Valley Lane in Odenton after a tip about suspected drug activity was received.
A search of the home revealed “homegrown” marijuana that was still connected to stems and branches, which led to the discovery of marijuana plants growing in an outdoor garden. Police also found cocaine, packaging materials and a scale in the home.
Police charged 51-year-old Carl F. Miller of the 800 block of Snow Valley Lane in Odenton with possession of marijuana, manufacturing marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana; and 30-year-old Mandy A. Gibson of the 800 block of Hine Trail in Crownsville with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and possession of cocaine.
Police reportedly found 85.7 grams of suspected cocaine worth about $9,427, marijuana plants worth $2,850 and 23.5 grams of loose marijuana worth $235.
