A Severn man who sustained serious injuries in an altercation last week has died, Anne Arundel County police reported.
David Lamont Harley, 45, was removed from life support Thursday.
Police said they continue to investigate how Harley was hurt. They previously said he was injured following a confrontation with a friend, and was found unresponsive on the ground. He was taken to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
Police said they interviewed witnesses and determined that Harley had been in an altercation with a male friend. The friend was interviewed by police, but no arrests have been made.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy Friday but have not yet released an official cause of death.
The investigation is still active and police are asking anyone with information call Det. J. McNemar at 410-222-3463.
