The Return of Bachelor Mondays

First off: if you're looking for a nice, warm, fuzzy recap of last week's Bachelor premier, you've come to the wrong place. I predict that this season of The Bachelor will be the worst season ever. Period.

And I'm totally psyched. As many of you know, I am one of the co-founders (and the namesake) of Megan's Bachelor Monday Mayhem . It's a page where people who like or hate the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows can join together with other like-minded fans and engage in totally catty, absolutely witty banter about. It's a safe place, kind of like a "trust tree" for people (like me) who may be a little embarrassed about watching but just can't help themselves. Because let's face it: the show is a train wreck, and that's what makes it great.  

I'm not a reality TV fan. I don't watch Idol, Biggest Loser, Real Housewives, Kardashians or even Survivor. I never have. I'm more of a Law and Order: Special Victims Unit girl (before Stabler left of course). But I think I had a moment of weakness and thought Jake Pavelka was kinda cute. And Dancing with the Stars (ok, I've watched a few seasons of that) was over and I wanted something to watch on Mondays. Who new there would be so much to comment on? How could I predict all of the material that the show would provide? So I started clogging up all of my friends' feeds on Monday nights with my oh-so-witty posts about Jake, Vienna Sausage and Crazy Michelle. To remedy this, my friend Lia created our Facebook page. Now we have 74 fans and lots of fun on Mondays. And let's face it, everyone hates Mondays but now they look forward to Monday nights and Bachelore Mayhem.

OK, enough background. Back to Ben. He is boring. B-O-R-I-N-G. Which is kind of a bummer. At least Brad was a total moron and entertaining. It was like watching a kitten chase something shiny, but in his case, it was something blond. The season premier last Monday introduced us to all of the Bachelorettes and the nicest thing I can say is: Bring back Grandma. At least she seemed genuine and showed some real emotion. The other chicks are either already crying or making out with each other and figuring out how to vote the other chicks off the island. Oh wait, wrong show.

Anyway, point is, this season is going to be a terrible. But we'll watch it anyway and we invite you to join us. You'll not only get to be as obnoxious as you want, you may even make a new friend or two in the process. Will you accept this rose?
