At least six chain establishments in the greater Severn area are offering huge discounts and even free food to members of the military in honor of Veterans Day, according to a release by the Army News Service.
Here's a list of the restaurants and deals offered on Veterans Day to both active and veteran service members on Nov. 11, 2011.
Chili's at Arundel Mills: Dine for free from an exclusive six-item menu.
Golden Corral near Arundel Mills: Military families will receive a free meal from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15.
: Get a free 6-inch sub or flatbread for military vets on Veterans Day.
T.G.I. Friday's near Arundel Mills: Military vets can buy one meal, get another one free between Nov. 11-13.
: A 10 percent discount is offered to all military veterans on purchases up to $5,000. The deal is active year round.
(): From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. veterans can get a free slurpee.
