Arundel High Chorus Winter Concert
When: Wednesday, 7 p.m.
Where: Arundel High
Details: The chorus will perform a wide range of holiday and winter selections. Admission is free.
School Board Tackles the Budget
When: Wednesday, 7 p.m.
Where: 2644 Riva Rd., Annapolis
Details: Anne Arundel County Schools Superintendent Kevin Maxwell will present his recommended operating and capital budget for fiscal year 2014.
School of the Incarnation Backpack Collection
When: Thursday morning
Where: School of the Incarnation
Details: For the 7th straight year, students at SOTI will stuff backpacks filled with warm clothes to help homeless people in Baltimore. The more than 800 backpacks will then be distributed on Christmas Eve in conjunction with the charity Giving Back.
When: Thursday, 5 p.m. (boys) and 7 p.m. (girls)
Where: Arundel High School
Details: It's the Battle of 175 in hoops.
