Train Stops at Defunct Tracks in Odenton - Residents and business owners in Odenton got a surprise when a Norfolk Southern train appeared on tracks that most people thought were no longer operational. The train came onto the tracks in an attempt to clear main railways impacted by a derailment south of Odenton. 

Drugs, Rifles Seized Near Gambrills Day Nursery - Police arrested two people accused of conducting drug transactions in the vicinity of the Gambrills Day Nursery. Guns were also seized from an adjacent building on the property.

One Dead in Crash at I-97 and Route 100 - One man died and several others were hurt in a crash during the morning hours of Nov. 22. The injured passengers included a small child. 

Police: Copper Thieves Causes Power Outages in Odenton - Police arrested four people on charges that they tried to steal copper wiring from a BGE pole in Odenton. The alleged theft led to power outages for nearly 1,800 people in town.
