For more than 25 years the Heritage Community Church has been active in engaging the residents of Severn with a multitude of ministry opportunities and activities. The church also proudly hosts spanish-speaking services in one of its halls on campus. 

In addition to the weekly studies and ministries, ranging from youth groups to divorce counseling groups, the church hosts Tuesday night volleyball events and "tea nights," where the women and their children can get together for the high class pleasures of tea and tasty treats.  The church also focuses on missionary efforts, specifically in Puerto Rico and Africa where they have consistent partnerships with various organizations.
