Operated by the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities, this senior center is a popular gathering place for many of Odenton's older residents. Membership is free for anyone over age 55. Members can call in advance to get an inexpensive, nutritionally balanced lunch. The center also offers a variety of health screenings, financial counseling, activities, classes and bus trips. The center also has an annex building across the street offering additional space and services. The center's namesake was well known for writing Odenton: The Town the Railroad Built, widely accepted as the definitive history of Odenton.
