Burritos and Bulls!

Rinconcito Mexicano - 1103 Annapolis, MD - Pachanga better look out, there is a new place in the neighborhood!  Rinconito is owned by the same owner as Mi Casita in Gambrills who is from Lubbock, TX.  I was very impressed with how he walked table to table thanking everyone for visiting! The food and the service was stellar, which exceeded my expectations after only being open for a short time! I had the combination platter with a chili relleno and chicken enchilada - It was great! Priced around $11 - average price overall is around $13.  I am from Texas as well and it is nice that he brought some Tex-Mex to our area!  Go try it!

BULL ROASTS - I know we all see advertisement after advertisement for bullroasts from sports clubs, schools, fire department, etc etc. When I moved here, I had no idea what a "Bullroast" was and why they call it that.  lol... Since then, I have organized and hosted quite a few and they are alot of fun! If you have not attended one, choose a local organization you would like to support and go try it! If you have attended one, go again! Price points are usually $30 or so per person, depending on what they are representing and what they are offering.  They usually have all you can eat, drink, DJ or band, silent auctions, games, dancing!  Go out this winter and support your local bullroasts!!  You cannot "go out on date night" for this price!  It is also a great opportunity to meet people, show  your support and strengthen our community!  If you want suggestions on Bullroasts to attend, feel free to email me tammy.estes1@gmail.com  For the record, I still do not know why they call it a "Bullroast".. lol..

Odenton VFC puts on some great bullroasts twice a year. Not that I'm biased or anything. ;) lol

Concur with Tammy on Rinconcito Mexicano. Went their last saturday at 5PM and place was full. Food was more mexican than most Tex-mex places and service was swift and friendly. Sangria is home made and not as sweet as most mexican places. Refried beans were not the black mexican vatriety but morepale brown and tasty. Steak Enchilades were excellent and Chimichonga chicken was super. Would recommend it to everyone to try. Prices are reasonable.

Rinconcito was great! We had been looking for good mexican place around here and something was missing everywhere we went. We will surely be regulars there. :)

Totally agree with everything said about Rinconcito. We were so excited to hear they were opening up in Odenton as we had eaten at Mi Casita numerous times and absolutely loved it.

I was born and raised in Texas. I grew up eating good Tex-Mex food and Rinconcito satisfies my need for it perfectly! We will be eating here at least once a month. Just like a few of the other people who posted, we used to eat at Mi Casita but it's slightly further away. The food/service/atmosphere is almost identical. Just FYI, there is also Los Portales near BWI, Plaza di Girabaldi (sp?) in Glen Burnie and Salto's in Brooklyn, MD that all serve very good authentic "Tex-Mex".

Hi Marc, we have tried all but the one in Brooklyn,Md. You are so right! Also, being you are a fellow Texan! You should look up Texas State Society. It is an association that is all displaced Texans! They have mixers, happy hours , etc with other state associations Every Father's Day they have a huge BBQ Picnic that we attend with beer, music, zip line, horseshoe and softball tournament. There are usually 1,000 or so people that attend. It's a lot of fun! You should look it up. For anyone else, pretty much every state has an association that is the same. It is a great way to meet people!

We are so thrilled about having Rinconcito opening near us! We've already been 4 times, and will definitely be regulars. Everything we've eaten has been great, as we expected since we love everything on the menu at Mi Casita.
