Fine Dining, Bull Rides and Frozen Treats

Allison's - 2207 Defense Hwy, crofton -  I have had a few comments on my blog to go try Allison's! I went this past Saturday and so happy I did!  At first, I felt like we were the only people in there (approximately 5:30 on Saturday) ... Until our server, Matt came over to help us. Fabulous service, he was very welcoming and knowledgable. We started off with calamari and mozzerella cheese... The calamari was very fresh and the mozzerella cheese was not like any other I have had. Dinner was just as good, I had Allison's Lasagna - salad was cold :) and everyone in our party was very pleased and would return! I have added a coupon that I found on their website.. I would HIGHLY recommend you trying Allison's! Prices Point is around $14 meal.

Cadillac Ranch - 1906 Town Center Blvd., Annapolis - I really liked the environment!  They have a large variety on their menu from BBQ, Steaks, Burgers, Wings.. .. I would suggest the Kettle Chips.. :)  Followed by a Bull Ride.. Yes, I rode the mechanical bull and yes I fell off.  I was just happy that I was able to get on the thing as it took a few try's lol .. They also have a brunch menu that was just ok... This is a great place to watch the game!  Several T.V.'s!!  There were only 2 things wrong with this place- 1. The main Big Screen - it is like watching an old godzilla movie because the audio does not match the video.. So we would hear a touch down before we saw it or vice versa.  2. The service started out good then faded away through out the game to non existent.. I would still recommend!  Price Point is around $12 meal. Best deal on beers during a game - Bucket of 5 full size for $10.

Dairy Queen -1140 Annaplis Rd., Odenton, MD. - I drive past Dairy Queen except the few times a year that I am craving a dipped cone.  I decided to try them because of the spicy chicken tender ad on their sign.. It brought back memories as Dairy Queen was the main eating place where I am from.   I was pleasantly surprised of how good it was.... Only mistake is they gave me regular chicken strips vs the spicy ones but the staff in the drive thru had excellent customer service.. Just check your order :)..

One dig about DQ is they don't take credit cards - unless that's been resolved. Been about a year since I've been there, mainly since I rarely carry cash.

Agreed with Calique and McGibblets that they do take credit. However, they occasionally do have issues where they don't--guess it's a technical issue. But the frustrating part with that (and the McDs next to it) is that they put the sign next to the order speaker. So you have to wait in line before you are aware of that.
