Water Main Break at Old Mill High
The school will not be closing for the day despite the leak.
A water main break at Old Mill High School created a mini-river in the school bus parking lot Thursday morning.
Lafayette Harvey, a security resource officer at the school, said workers didn't know where the leak was coming from but that he didn't expect the school to close because of the leak.
School administrators were told the water main break was caused by cold weather and that another leak on Elvaton Road is pushing a man hole up out of its slot, said Tammy Perry, principal's assistant.
The school bathrooms and running water stations are all working normally despite the water main break, Perry said.
