WATCH: Trains in Action in Odenton
YouTube suggests that Odenton is a popular place for train enthusiasts
I am always consistently amazed by the enthusiasm that many people have for trails and railways.
My old college roommate was a train buff, and would often go on weekend trips to check out old trains or even just hang out near railroad tracks.
We are lucky in this area to have the B&O Railroad Museum nearby, and the Odenton Heritage Society has done a good job chronicling Odenton's rail history.
I came across this recent video, posted to YouTube, featuring 12 minutes of trains pulling in and out of the Odenton rail station. (Occasionally, there's also an Amtrak train that whizzes by.)
YouTube user MJofLakeland1 has a whole roster of videos relating to transportation in the area. Trains, buses, dump trucks, police cars, you name it.
