Anne Arundel County police have arrested a young man from Severn after they say he pointed a toy handgun at a 12-year-old boy and demanded his jacket.

Police charged DeJon Malik Arnold, 18, of Autumn Lake Court with attempted robbery in connection to the incident on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, officers responded to a call at about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday at the 8200 block of Clearwater Court.
