Police Respond to Another Robbery at Royal Inn

A man and woman said three men broke into their motel room and stole cash and a cell phone.

Anne Arundel County police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Royal Inn in Odenton on Monday morning.

Police said they got a call shortly after 2:50 a.m. reporting a disturbance at the motel, located at the 1600 block of Annapolis Rd.

Officers arrived and spoke with a 24-year-old man and 26-year-old woman, who said they were in their room with the door partially open when three unknown men entered.

Police said one of the suspects grabbed the woman while another held down the male victim. A third suspect flashed a handgun, police said.

The suspects ransacked the room and demanded the victim’s property, and also stole the woman’s purse, cell phone and money. All of the suspects drove off in a black Ford Explorer. Police canvassed the area but did not find the suspects.

Demolish the place! It is a haven for drug dealers.

I agree. Considering all of the strides Odenton has made in recent years, and the amount of family community building going on down the street/just around the corner. This place has got to go.
