Anne Arundel County police responded Monday to a report of a robbery near the Severn Square Shopping Center on Annapolis Road.

According to a police press release, officers arrived at about 3:08 p.m. Monday to the 2600 block of Annapolis Road and spoke to a man who said two other men confronted him when he was walking to his car.

The man who called police reported that one of the suspects pointed a small can of pepper spray at him and stole some of his money.

Police said both of the suspects drove west on Annapolis Road toward Route 295 in a two-door Honda Accord that had no spoiler. Officers searched the area and got help from the Aviation Unit, but could not find the suspects.
