Police Arrest 4 Following Altercation on Bruce Avenue
Police said they used pepper spray to break up a fight in Odenton Saturday night.
Anne Arundel County Police have arrested four people after breaking up a fight outside a home on Bruce Avenue on Saturday night.
Police spokesman Justin Mulcahy said officers responded at about 9:50 p.m. to a report of a fight at the 500 block of Bruce Avenue. He said officers reported observing a man and woman arguing in the driveway.
Mulcahy said the man walked away, but then got into a fight with two other men.
Officers ordered the men to stop fighting, but their orders were ignored. At that point, police used oleoresin capsicum spray—commonly known as pepper spray—to break up the fight. Police ultimately arrested four people in connection to the incident.
The charged people included:
- Edward Carter, 46, of Odenton. Charged with affray.
- Catherine Foster, 48, of Odenton. Charged with disorderly conduct.
- Howard Trainer, 43, of Odenton. Charged with affray.
- Christopher Cissel, 22, of Odenton. Charged with affray.
Affray is an offense related to public fighting.

Bunch of middle aged men getting into a fight? haha. As a 42 year old man, I just don't have that kind of fight in me any more. :) I'd rather just walk away...getting hit hurts! Sheesh.
